The grey water cycle: The heart of water self-sufficiency

The separation of black water is the most efficient and effective cleaning step for grey water.

By the separation of black water (toilets and urinals) the remaining grey water is (bath, kitchen, wash) poorly loaded with pathogens and nutrients. With only a few treatment steps drinking water can be produced from grey water.

The customer gets the drinking water of his choice

After collection, the grey water runs into its own treatment module in the cellar or an outbuilding. As inter-quality, a de-ionized water is produced within the module, which must be mixed with minerals before it is fed back as drinking water into the supply lines. The customer has the choice between different mineral mixtures - so he can order a drinking water of his choice. You prefer Black Forest spring water? Ask us!

The customer can save up to 80 % of the energy costs at water supply from desalination of sea water.

Seawater has a salt content of approx. 40 g per litre. Grey water has with 1.5 - 3 g/l considerably less. If the customer loses 10% of the grey water for irrigation, the 10% are replaced out of seawater. The mixture has then 5.8 g of salt per litre - what corresponds to energy savings of over 70% since the seawater desalination plant’s energy consumption correlates directly with the salt content. The more salt, the higher the energy consumption. After all, if the customer uses 50% of his grey water for the irrigation, he still economizes more than 45% of the energy costs. So: Save water and energy costs in one step !

You also make an active contribution to prevent the increased salting of bays and coral-reefs due to the smaller amount of seawater which is desalinized with our technology. With our technique you make a large contribution to protecting the sea and corals for future generations!

Our artificial groundwater: Safety proceeds!

A method step in the grey water cycle is an artificial aquifer (or at sufficiently available groundwater also the natural aquifer itself), in which the cleaned grey water is percolated after reaching the bathing water quality in accordance with the EU guideline. Within the aquifer natural filtration, cleaning and mineralising processes take place delivering drinking water quality. In addition, the aquifer serves as supply reserve: Even if the grey water module fails for a longer period, the water supply to your object is not endangered!
