Hospitals are a great problem for the water resources

Hospitals consume a lot of water

With up to 700 litres of water per bed and day, hospitals belong, besides hotels, to the buildings with the highest water consumption. Unlike hotels, hardly any water can be saved here. Alone for hygienic reasons, the frequent changing and washing of bed linen, towels etc. cannot be changed here.

There is also urgent need for action in Germany

Hospitals load our waters with resistance plasmids, pharmaceuticals and endocrine substances. Particularly the toilet sewage out of hospitals should urgently be separated  from our natural water resources.

FFor hospitals we have developed an adapted method.

The complete destruction of pharmaceuticals and resistance plasmids is a particularly important aspect regarding black water from hospitals. We can guarantee with our black water loop process, especially developed for this case, that no more substances that endangering people and the environment  reach the environment. But non the less the  remaining nutrients can be completely reclaimed.

We will make your hospital completely sewage free

An endangering potential also comes from the grey water from hospitals. Also here, the biological active materials mentioned above and hazardous substances are washed out of contaminated objects (bed linen, laboratory etc.) into the grey water circle.

With our grey water cycle adapted to hospitals, these threats can also be eliminated. We also guarantee that no hazardous materials  reach the environment.

With our methods your hospital can lower operating costs

A small example calculation: A municipal hospital with 1,000 beds and an occupancy rate of 90% has an annual water consumption of approx. 230,000 m ³. If we assume a complete water price of € 3.5/m³ (in Germany often much higher), annual water costs of over € 800,000 p.a. arise. With our water recycling technologies you can reduce these operating costs considerably. To which extent, you want to know? Ask us!
